Before leaving Kyiv, Armenian Prime Minister’s wife Anna Hakobyan toured in the capital, visited St. Michael’s Monastery. The 12th century monastery was demolished in the 1930s and restored in the late 1990s. At the time of the visit, there was a Mass ceremony in the St. Mikhail monastery. Anna Hakobyan lit a candle and prayed for peace in Armenia, Ukraine and in all around the world.
The Prime Minister’s wife also walked around the monastery. She enjoyed the bell-monument on the top of the statue of Archangel Michael, which was built by the initiative of the mayor.
