Anna Hakobyan, spouse of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and chairwoman of the boards of trustees of the “My Step” and “City of Smile” charitable foundations, will leave for the United States on 1 April. During the visit, Anna Hakobyan will be accompanied by Executive Director of the “My Step” Charitable Foundation Hovhannes Ghazaryan and Executive Director of the “City of Smile” Charitable Foundation Esther Demirtchyan. Anna Hakobyan is also scheduled to visit the Library of the US Congress and meet with congresswomen. Anna Hakobyan will also have a meeting at the Carnegie Foundation on the sidelines of the “Women for Peace” campaign and will participate in the event dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Consulate General of Armenia in Los Angeles. During the visit, Anna Hakobyan will also take part in several charity gala-dinners and have bilateral meetings during which she will present the programs and activities of the two charitable foundations. Anna Hakobyan will also visit the St. Jude Hospital in Memphis where a memorandum will be signed between the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia and the “City of Smile” Charitable Foundation.
