Prime Minister’s wife Anna Hakobyan participated in the festive concert organized by the National Assembly of Armenia and the Komitas Quartet

On April 8, a concert organized by the National Assembly of Armenia and the Komitas National Quartet was held at the Chamber Music House named after Komitas, which was attended by the Prime Minister’s wife Anna Hakobyan.

The concert was a celebration dedicated to the Women’s Month holiday. Among the guests were the minister of Culture, Education, Science and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan, National Assembly Speaker’s wife Mariam Margaryan and other high-ranking women. Female pedagogues from musical educational institutions from all regions of Armenia were also invited to the festive concert.

Before the festive concert started, a documentary film was screened, which told about the establishment, history and achievements of the Komitas National Quartet.

Works of Armenian and Western European composers were performed at the Komitas House of Chamber Music.

The concert was held within the framework of the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of founding the national quartet named after Komitas, under the auspices of the President of the RA National Assembly, Alen Simonyan.
