Anna Hakobyan, Boghossian Foundation representatives discuss opportunities for organization of joint exhibition in Armenia

In Brussels, spouse of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Executive Director of the “My Step” Foundation Anna Hakobyan was hosted at the Villa Empain Centre for Art and Dialogue between Eastern and Western cultures (the Centre operates under the auspices of the Boghossian Foundation) where she had a meeting with Chief Financial Officer of the Boghossian Foundation Stijn Jacobs and Director of Exhibitions and Artist Residencies Anne-Claire Duperrier.

Anna Hakobyan thoroughly presented the mission and the three ongoing programs of the “My Step” Foundation to the representatives of the Boghossian Foundation and learned about the activities of the Boghossian Foundation. Anna Hakobyan suggested organizing an exhibition that would feature the works of contemporary Diaspora Armenian painters and artists and be held through the joint efforts of the “My Step” Foundation and the Boghossian Foundation. The parties agreed to continue discussions as a way of deepening the partnership between the two foundations.

After the meeting, Anna Hakobyan, accompanied by the representatives of the Boghossian Foundation, was introduced to the works of Josef and Anni Albers (brilliant representatives of contemporary Modernism) at Villa Empain Centre.

At the end of the meeting, the representatives of the Boghossian Foundation invited Anna Hakobyan to the open-air exhibition to be held in September at Lovers’ Park in Yerevan. The exhibition will be devoted to the history of the Villa Empain Center for Art and Dialogue between Eastern and Western cultures.
