Prime Minister’s wife Anna Hakobyan participated in “I’m not like you, I’m one of you” concert and exhibition-sale of “My Way” center students

Prime Minister’s wife Anna Hakobyan attended the exhibition-sale and concert entitled “I’m not like you, I’m one of you” on April 2, World Autism Awareness Day.

The event was attended by Zhanna Andreasyan, Minister of Culture, Education, Science and Sport, Deputy Minister Araxia Svajyan, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Tatevik Stepanyan, Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Sargis Madatyan.

The event was organized by “My Way” Social-Habilitation, Educational and Vocational Training Day Center at the National Autism Foundation. It is an institution that provides educational, rehabilitation, professional courses and employment for children, adolescents and adults diagnosed with autism and other developmental disorders. It has been operating since 2012.

The center has 200 beneficiaries who are provided with behavioral, speech, art, music, dance therapies, psychological and psychiatric services.

From pop music to jazz and blues, Armenian and foreign songs. The students of the center amazed the guests with their musical abilities, they sang and played for the audience.

An exhibition-sale was held at the end of the event. The works of the students of the center were presented. The money collected will be used to cover the travel expenses of two brothers from Artsakh to reach the “My Way” center from the marz.
