Whom We Help

Today our hero is 6-year-old Davit from Ararat region. A short chat with him will reveal how serious our boy is. When you speak with him, address him like an adult and clarify the meaning and purpose of each step.
He takes his treatment at the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia very seriously, rarely speaking or crying. It’s important that our boy knows why they go to the Center and if they’ll be staying there. Also, he loves when family members visit and always asks them for toys.

Davit had only attended school for a brief period in first grade before being diagnosed. This made him to miss his classes. Despite this, during his hospital days, he frequently joins Mrs. Ani in the playroom for study.
Davit dreams to have a dark blue car with big wheels. He envisions riding it to school once he completes his treatment and returns home.

Today our hero is brave 3-years-old Narek from Artsakh.
Narek might appear serious at first, but once he forms a connection, he’s the most affectionate and caring little boy you’ll meet. His friendship with his doctor, Anna A. Avagyan, has began since his early days at the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia. Now, whenever he catches sight of her, he excitedly runs over to give her a warm hug.
While at the hospital, Narek very much misses his father. Even in his sleep, he calls out his name with a smile. Also he is extremely caring and loving towards his 5-month-old little brother.
Narek loves to play with all kinds of vehicles. He used to have a collection of toy cars in Artsakh, and now he regularly asks if they can bring his toys from there.
In Artsakh, Narek had a big, black car where he would spend his entire day, even enjoying meals inside it. Now, he dreams of having his car “brought from Artsakh” so he can spend his days driving it around here.

Today, we would like to share the story of Gor, an 11-year-old from the Aragatsotn region. Prior to his diagnosis, Gor lived with his family in Russia, but they have since relocated to Armenia, a change that made Gor very happy.
In the initial stages, he was excited about the move, but as time passed, he began to miss the days he spent in Russia.
Our resilient boy is a devoted fan of the Japanese anime “Naruto” and has watched all its episodes. His love for drawing led him to create an album featuring all the characters from “Naruto.”
Gor maintains a serious and calm demeanor, whether at school or at the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Centre of Armenia. Despite his serious nature, he is remarkably friendly and communicative, forging a special friendship with his doctor, Saten Hovhannisyan. Gor even finds himself missing her when he’s  at home.
This brave young soul has a wish—to own an electric scooter or a 26-inch  bike in either blue or black colors.

It’s Wednesday and today our hero is 5-year-old Eric. Eric was born in the Russian Federation, but due to a diagnosis and ongoing treatment for a medical condition, he currently resides in the Kotayk region with his parents.
Eric’s passion lies in his love for various types of vehicles. He is very enthusiastic about playing with his favorite cars for hours and loves talking and sharing information about different models of cars.
Eric’s sociable and friendly nature is evident, and he eagerly anticipates reuniting with his friends at kindergarten. He very much looks forward to giving gifts to everyone there upon his return.
While undergoing his treatment at the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders of Armenia, Eric refuses to be separated from his mother even for a minute, however he has graciously agreed to stay without her for a few days so that she can bring home his eagerly anticipated  little sister into the family.
While getting his treatment, Erik often asks about the exact date of his recovery and eagerly anticipates returning to their house in the Russian Federation. Left behind are his beloved toy cars, and he can’t wait to play with them once he regains his health.
Eric really wishes to have a big, black Mercedes-Benz G-class car. In his imagination, this car plays a pivotal role in bringing his newborn sister home from the hospital once he successfully recovers.
